Last week, I spoke to Carol about coming on board to do images for us, cross-posting, and advertising her tremendous skills as a digital image artist, so it surprised and upset me to get an email stating that she’d nuked her very excellent site, because she’s just too busy to carry on.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t admire Carol’s blogging. I’ve emailed her, but haven’t yet gotten a response.
If you’re a friend of No Sheeples, please drop a line and ask her to make this au revoir rather than goodbye.
Also blogging:
I’m sure that there are others whom I’ve missed.
Carol devoted a post to announcing the debut of this blog, and was busily engaged in Troopathon. I imagine that she was giving a lot more than she was getting back in return.
- Excited
- Angry
- Not as Angry
- Bored
- Indifferent
- Sad

Those thoughts always run undercurrent to bloggers I’d say.
For something to have hit the fan all of a sudden without foreshadowing speaks to possible traumatic events…
Fair winds and seas, Carol No Sheeples; let it flow…
NOOO..
That’s too bad.. Carol was a very good blogger..
She’ll be missed..
I agree with the NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO….loved the visuals she’d come up with.
I understand getting burned out (I understood, but was sad, when Steven den Beste went away for a long while, but I see him popping up in comments all over the place…), so I hope it’s au revoir and not adieu, as well.
Sad news. I’ll miss her blog and her way with photoshop.
I’m hoping Carol will change her mind after a break. I’ve emailed to tell her so.
I added a requiem of my own. A site like hers takes a lot of work. A LOT. Maintaining what she did is a full time job—with no pay.
