If you had the choice, wouldn't you prefer to spend your money with people who share your values? I think each of us knows someone in academia or the creative fields who has hidden their conservative opinions and activities for fear of repercussions.

The Conservatory is where you can source goods and services, events, media, resources, reviews, news and opinions from people who believe in the things that they do. Naturally, we hope to get some large advertisers, but we want most to cater to family owned and operated businesses, and to get paying gigs for those crazy people who blog for nothing, or next to nothing.
