Spike finally tweeted out an apology to the McClains, the elderly couple whom he helped drive out of their home by retweeting their address as George Zimmerman’s to his 250k Twitter followers, but only after they announced that they’d retained a lawyer.
What a tough guy. No word on whether the elderly retirees use Twitter, but what kind of apology does one expect from such a pompous asswipe?

Much more on this subject from El Sooper.
UPDATE: Hey, if the McClains are satisfied, so am I.

I would give him credit for not going the, “I’m sorry if you were offended,” non-apology route, but he gets few points for apologizing via Twitter. An offense like this merits a press release.
