And why not, after the way crooked DoJ prosecutors behaved toward dead Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens and got away with it?
Alan Dershowitz says that Florida state prosecutor Angela Corey acted irresponsibly and illegally by withholding evidence from the courts when she filed her affidavit, and because of that he believes she should be investigated.
But that’s not all. He maintains that she’s done something far worse by raising expectations to an unsustainable level by charging for second degree murder, and that no reasonable jury will convict on the basis of this evidence. He suggests that if there are riots because of this, “the finger of responsibility will point directly at this prosecutor.”
Go watch the video.
It would not surprise me a bit, alas, if Holder’s DoJ told Angela Corey that they’d prevent her from being prosecuted for abuse of her office. And if you haven’t looked at it yet, check out rdbrewer on Duping Delight, which goes a long way toward explaining her bizarre initial press conference. What whores there be in government.
Non-idiots everywhere found her behavior inappropriate, and now we know why.

Is Derschowitz going to offer to be a Pro-bono co-counsel on this one, or should we start taking up a collection to pay him to be?

The slight tinge of sarcasm that your displaying is off base.
If Derschowitz is correct, there will be hell to pay.
Obanana’s divide and conquer side tactic takes no prisoners and there will be blood spilled unnecessarily all because of an appeasement based popularity contest.
Justice has been superseded by political ambition.

From who? DOJ won’t do jack before the election and Mitt, Mastodon McConnell and Crying John won’t dare after in case someone yells ‘racist’.

Okay, I’ve corrected the spelling of Dershowitz.
And I’m outraged about Corey’s behavior.
But, um . . . I’m not sure I see the connection between a state prosecutor and the DOJ.

It’s like this: the state prosecutor knows she’s in the clear from the DoJ for over-reaching and abusing the law to make a political prosecution of George Zimmerman.
Do you think that’s an unwarranted suspicion on my part? Am I being paranoid?
These people will do anything to advance their agenda and deflect attention from Obama’s failings. Also, Skittles.

GAWDS…..don’t give them any ideas or that might be the defense. Remember the “Twinkie” defense?

If she did this, you’ve got a civil rights claim on top of the abuse of color of authority and other gross malfeasance.
jefferson101 on May 20, 2012 at 2:06 pm said:
Zimmerman don’t be getting no civil rights claims. He’s a White hispanic, according to the Bureau of Official Truth and the Media.
He must be convicted of anything and everything in order to appease the angry mobs that the Media and the Bureau of Official Truth instigated in the first place.
Tangentially, when is the last time you saw anyone get in trouble for any kind of gross malefeasance? I can think of about once in the last hundred-thousand instances.
They’ll teach the Serfs to get uppity! And the Serfs better like it, too.
