Despite believing that ObamaSpace is intended to be a scam, I’m not so jaded and partisan that I can’t acknowledge that this launch is both a good thing and an important event. The criticism I do have, though, is that contrary to what the MSM and NewSpacers would have you believe, this launch has very little to do with getting you (personally) into space. What it does do is demonstrate that we may have a cargo ferry for one specific destination (the ISS) which is significantly less-expensive than the Shuttle, is not Russian, maybe will serve to also move astronauts and cosmonauts to-and-from the ISS, and (even more) maybe will, some time in the indeterminate future, take you into orbit for a fee.
