He would disappoint his dad if he did anything else:
Sources tell FOX 32 News that Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is willing to give up his 2nd Congressional District seat if he's given disability when he steps down.
Jackson Jr. was re-elected to his tenth term but last month, sources say, he applied for a disability package–what could be his only income if he resigns. It is expected to take a couple of weeks for Congress to approve or deny the request.
His house on 72nd Street in Chicago is part of the federal government's investigation into allegations that Jackson Jr. misused campaign funds. Sources say Jackson allegedly spent $20,000 to renovate and buy furniture for the family's home in Chicago, not their 5-bedroom Victorian home in Washington D.C.
I wonder what kind of disability coverage he's looking at. Given that Congress votes on its own benefits, I'll assume it's pretty sweet.

He's got to make sure he has at least as sweet of a deal as his brothers.

I thought that Jr was negotiating with the Feds over being prosecuted.
Fine. Don't quit, dipstick. When you get Convicted, the House will expell you, without a pension, and you will do time to boot.
Dumbazz.
OTOH, given the current climate of sensitivity to people of color who are total crooks, but are not white or Asian, he might get by with it. This is really getting old, for some of us. If the "People of Color" insist on electing crooks to office, why did we go to all the trouble of passing the Voting Rights Act? If that's how they want to use it…….
Sorry, but I'm all over being sensitive to them. We have a President of Color now, so nobody has any gripe about being equal any more. You got to act like you have sense from now on, or I'm going to treat you like you don't have any.
And that's the name of that tune.

He's never known anything different. He's been groomed to be a scumbag his entire life. I almost feel sorry for the son of "Reverend" Jesse Jackson.
God will sort this out, one day. Maybe not in this life, but God's judgment will come down on the both of them.
