Here she is in all of her TV science fiction glory:

But, of course, I can't possibly leave the rest of the Firefly ladies out.

Cowboy Curtis's very sexy wife, Gina Torres:

The gorgeous Jewel Staite:

And the waifish beauty of Summer Glau:

BONUS

Christina Hendricks before she was a mega-star (and before bitchy gossip rags were calling her "fat"):

EXTRA BONUS

A little political commentary with your culture:

BTW, you have no idea how many horrible cosplay images I had to endure in this process. It was a nightmare of pasty flesh.

  • Baccarin's character on Firefly didn't make sense on several levels, and the character's motivations were qeually incomprehensible to me.
Mucking up the issue are statements by Joss Whedon that the character was pushed on him by the network and that he didn't intend for her to have been a main plot focus.
So the only thing I can take away is the undeniable fact that Monica Baccarin is one of the most gorgeous women on earth. And that she needs to grow her hair back out.

That's really all I needed for Inara to make sense.

She can wear her hair at any length she chooses as far as I'm concerned. She could even go all Persis Khambatta and that would be fine with me.
